Seems a while...

...since I last posted so I thought I'd tell you about a couple of things that are going to appear in the next release. Both of them are included as a result of user comments and requests - so, yes, I do listen to them ;-)

The first is an ingredient inventory. This module is finished and in order to accomodate it's arrival I've made some changes to the Shopping module as well.

The second is a overhaul of the way batches are handled. I've pulled the functionality out of the 'Recipe Editor' and given batches their own module. This has given me the opportunity to spend some time improving and expanding the sort of data you can capture about each batch you brew. This module ties into the new inventory system so that your inventory can be automatically adjusted to take account of new batches and it can also tell you if you have all the ingredients you need in stock to brew a batch. This module is about 80% finished.

There are other features planned but these two are the ones nearest completion so I feel confident they'll actually make it into the next release.

As usual, the next release will be a free upgrade to existing registered users.
