The wait is nearly over.
Last night I submitted BeerAlchemy Touch for review by Apple. Hopefully they will approve it without revision but who knows? Depending upon how long it takes them affects the release date. I go on vacation soon and don't want it released whilst I'm away so it may be a few more weeks until it actually released.
The release will be accompanied by a new release of BeerAlchemy for the Mac that mainly adds syncing support.
Also in the pipeline is another app called BeerAlchemy Viewer that restores the 'export to iPod' functionality lost when the iPhone and iPod Touch were released. This app will not allow you to edit recipes or batches but will allow you to view them. It uses the same syncing mechanism as BeerAlchemy Touch. This application will be free of charge. I intend submitting this to Apple once BeerAlchemy Touch is approved so it might be out a few weeks later.

Didn't know about the viewer app. Excellent idea. Sometimes, we just need to have the recipe handy. The brewery is one case (especially after brewday) but it's also useful when people ask about the specifics of a beer.
Still, if the BA Touch app is decently priced, it's a better idea to simply carry that. A friend showed it to me at a brewclub meeting and I'm pretty sure I want it.
