A long time coming.
Well it feels like it. The next version of BeerAlchemy is currently being worked on. Nearly all the coding is done (and has been for a while). What's taking the time is writing descriptions for all the ingredients. Enough people asked for ingredient descriptions to be added that they're going to appear in the next version of the program. Much as I expected (and also the main reason they haven't been done before) it's taking ages to write them all. Additionally, I'm moving house soon and all the packing isn't leaving much time.
Anyway, rest assured, there is a new version of BeerAlchemy in the pipeline and once I've finished these damn descriptions it will be off to the beta testers and then, once they've broken it and I've fixed it, it will be released. My guess is it will be a couple of months though.
The next version will be a free upgrade to all registered users.
