Merry Christmas!

Hope you all have a really great Christmas. If it all gets a bit too much, remember 'relax - have a homebrew'.

Cheers

$10 off BeerAlchemy Offer

BeerAlchemy was first released a year ago today. In order to celebrate, we're offering a $10 discount on BeerAlchemy on orders made from now until Christmas day. Just enter the coupon number below where requested on either the web store or the in-app purchase system.

The discount is only available by using the coupon. Orders made without the coupon will still cost the full amount. So make sure you use it while you have the chance!

Note: The discount is per order. If you want to buy more than one copy you'll need to make separate orders to get the discount for each copy.

...and another!

Just when you thought it was safe, another BeerAlchemy version appears!

The last few versions have fixes which mostly arise from the same root cause. In 1.4 I added the ability to choose the amount of yeast you use. Unfortunately I forgot to update the file importers to reflect this and so, when recipes are added to the recipes database without that info, the program does weird things.

I think I've fixed them all now so hopefully, fingers crossed, that should be it for that particular issue.

Anyway, away from uploading new bugfix versions every couple of days, I've started work on the next major version and have already completed a couple of things that were user requests. I'll give more info nearer to release...

Two new versions in three days?

The more observant amongst you may have noticed that BeerAlchemy has had two new versions in the last few days. 1.4.1 came out on Saturday and fixed a couple of bugs (one of which had the interesting effect of suggesting brewers use sparge water in excess of 300F when batch sparging!). No sooner was that uploaded when a couple of other bugs were mentioned to me by users. 1.4.2 fixes both of those issues.

Apologies to those users who downloaded 1.4.1 only to find they've got another 4MB to download so soon after.

It's out!

BeerAlchemy 1.4 was released a couple of days ago. Sorry it took so long!

Hope you enjoy it...
