Our Applications

Our current applications do not routinely collect any personally-identifiable information nor do they collect anonymous usage information. Previous versions of BeerAlchemy for Mac sold before November 2012 used product activation that linked an individual installation to a specific customer.

We use a third party service to provide us with reports and statistics about application crashes. This service is provided by HockeyApp, a Microsoft product, and is present in all current versions of BeerAlchemy. The user can choose not to submit this data. Application Sales

Our current applications are sold by third parties. We do not sell software direct to customers. The third parties are:

Apple AppStore and Mac AppStore - Our mobile applications and BeerAlchemy for Mac are available via the Apple AppStore and Mac AppStore. We do not have any access to the Personal Data of customers who purchase via Apple. Read about Apple here.

FastSpring - BeerAlchemy for Mac is also available via FastSpring. FastSpring collects Personal Data of customers to which we have access. Our principle reason for accessing this data is to lookup lost serial numbers for customers. Read about FastSpring here.

eSellerate(Digital River) - Prior to November 2012 BeerAlchemy for Mac was available via eSellerate. eSellerate collected Personal Data of customers to which we still have access. Our principle reason for accessing this data is to lookup lost serial numbers for customers. Versions of BeerAlchemy for Mac purchased before November 2012 still contact eSellerate to verify product activation. This process personally identifies the user concerned. Our email accounts are hosted by Google. If you email us for support or for any other reason, our email accounts will hold your Personal Data. We have never operated a mailing list and will not sell your data.
